SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Commtouch® (Nasdaq: CTCH) today announced that during Q4 2010 it closed several new customer agreements for its Command Antivirus® solution, which was acquired in September 2010 from Authentium.

"Both our existing and new customers are responding positively to our consolidated offering, which drives operational simplicity and lower total cost of ownership."

Following the acquisition, the Command development team invested additional resources in further enhancing the product's capabilities. In the November benchmark tests performed by industry-leading AV-Test GmbH, Commtouch Command ranked 4th out of the 26 products tested, with a detection rate of 99.55%, compared to an average detection rate of 95.53%.
